About FocusedWealth

Financial planning built around what matters to you.
Focused Wealth was created with a simple idea: good financial planning should help make life clearer, not more complicated.
Our role is to understand what matters to you, bring structure to the financial decisions that support it, and create a plan you can understand and rely upon for years to come.
Independent financial planning
We provide independent financial advice and ongoing financial planning, helping individuals and families build, preserve and ultimately use their wealth with confidence.
Our advice is personal, independent and built around you.

FocusedWealth thinking

Wealth has little value unless it improves the lives it was created to enrich.

Martin Palmer

Founder | Independent Financial Adviser
I began working in financial services in 2000, shortly after graduating from university, and started my first regulated Financial Adviser role in 2005. Since then, I’ve spent more than 20 years advising individuals and families through different stages of their financial lives.
Before establishing Focused Wealth, I worked as a whole-of-market financial planner and latterly headed the investment committee at my previous firm.
I founded Focused Wealth because I wanted to create the kind of financial planning business I believe clients deserve — genuinely independent, highly personal and focused on building long-term relationships.
For me, good financial planning isn’t simply about investments, pensions or tax. It’s about understanding what someone wants from their life and helping them make good financial decisions that support it.

A personal approach

Financial planning is personal. We believe the relationship you have with your adviser should be too.
At Focused Wealth, you won’t be passed between departments or expected to fit into a standardised process. Good financial planning begins with understanding you — your family, your ambitions, your concerns and what you want your wealth to achieve.
Technology has an important role behind the scenes, but it shouldn’t replace good conversations, thoughtful advice and a long-term relationship with someone who understands your circumstances.

Financial planning through life

Your financial priorities change throughout your life. Our approach is built around three simple areas — building wealth, preserving what you’ve created and ultimately using your wealth to support the life you want.

Build Wealth

Creating the financial foundations for your future.

Preserve Wealth

Protecting and managing what you’ve worked hard to create.

Use Wealth

Enjoy the freedom your wealth gives you.

Part of a wider family

Focused Wealth combines the personal relationship of a smaller financial planning business with the resources and infrastructure of a much larger financial services organisation.
Focused Wealth is a trading name of Financial Solutions Advisers Limited, which forms part of the wider Prydis family of financial services and professional businesses.
This gives us access to established compliance, technology, administration and specialist investment resources, while allowing Focused Wealth to retain its own approach, identity and — importantly — its independence.
While Focused Wealth is a new business, the wider family behind it has a much longer history. Prydis traces its client work back to 1991, while Financial Solutions was established in 2017 and has grown to support more than 40 financial advisers and over £1.8 billion of assets under advice.
Together, this gives Focused Wealth the resources and infrastructure of an established financial services group while retaining the independence and personal approach of a smaller financial planning business.
